ZOMG!!! somebody doesn't like one thing the FO did , it must mean they hate them entirely and want them all fired!!!!!!
Everyone is so quick to jump to extremes - this was a mistake by the front office, that doesn't mean it's shameful or someone needs to be publically embarrassed.
At the same time it ok to say the FO messed up without having people go crazy as well.
My opinion; the FO messed up the JA situation, it shouldn't have happened. I don't however think that's some massive mistake that people need to overreact to. The draft still ended up very good, but I hope the miscalculation with JA doesn't come back and bite us --- and he becomes a stud at Auburn.

Could you imagine? He's going to sign because he really has no leverage, but could you imagine the fallout if he didn't?

he really doesn't. the Braves have about 10 grand left. So basically the Braves can say.. take 10 grand or F U.. because we will be over either way.
No he doesn't. His money is already spent - he really can't ask for more -- the Braves don't have it.
If he does demand his slot value; its lose-lose - he won't get anything and the Braves will be in the penalty. The Braves FO isn't going to give him more than they can afford. Unless he doesn't care about getting any money and just want to f*ck a team over, he has no leverage.
