Braves interested in Chris Sale...

I don't know how I feel. It would be amazing but our issue is more offense. Dang he'd bolster our rotation though. Folty-Teheran-Folty is a really good 1-2-3

Yeah, if we are giving up the ridiculous amount of talent it would take to get Sale we better be signing Cespedes and Desmond this offseason, otherwise it would be a pretty bad idea.

All speculation at this point. I think he's going to Baltimore.

He got in a fight with front office personnel tonight and was pulled from the clubhouse. Maybe they told him he was going to the Braves and his response was..."I'm not going to that **** show."

It makes sense because he's controlled through 2019. We could put Inciarte out there to try and get him.

The White Sox wouldn't be looking for major league talent.

I do not, however, want us to go after him. And I assume we won't.

I was implying that the Braves only trade away major league players because they can't part ways with the coveted prospects.

If the Braves are going to "buy" a controllable SP in this market, I'd go after Chris Archer.

Jake Odorizzi is also interesting, but he is about to hit arb years.

Give the White Sox the following:

1. Choice of Wisler/Blair/Newcomb (or one of the other closer arms if they prefer - not Folty).
2. Albies.
3. Choice of one of the badass lower level arms (Allard, Soroka, Fried, Toussaint, etc.)
4. One addtional, lesser regarded but not AAAA garbage pitcher.

The only thing I don't like about it is that it would eat up a lot of the prospect capital we've been told would be used to buy hitting. We would still have the option of trading Teheran for bats though, and would do away with the need to keep Julio for the ridiculous reason of having an opening day starter for the new ball park.

I just can't give up Albies or Swanson in any deal for a pitcher.
