That's weak. The point is he didn't put us in the best position to come through there. Was Janish just going to magically hit the ball with authority somewhere? No. Did Gosselin have a better shot vs. Gattis/McCann? No. Was Schafer going to hit a lefty, which he hasn't all season? No.

He didn't put the players in the best position to succeed. They failed. He failed. A manager can't do many thing to help his team on the field, but Fredi fails terribly at the things he can control.
