I'm not watching. Was it a called squeeze by the manager or something Janish did on his on? And Janish bunting is probably a better call than him swinging.

FTR....I am certainly not one of Fredi's believers. Can't stand him.

This is looking like the 500 braves team. That said no Heyward, JUp, Mac in the line up.

Freddie is awful. His decisions are crazy. The 2 strike bunt with Laird running is only 10% defensable b/c Janish is terrible at hitting. But he could have scored a run with an out. And Janish isnt' a great bunter......Maybe Schafer is the only guy on the team that consistently bunts w/ Huddy out.

Not batting Gattis there was really interesting. Gattis is moving way down Freddie's list.

Good point. I didn't mention Justin since it was suggested he wasn't available. I don't know if that is so, but for the sake of argument I left him out.
 
Those complaining about Janish should remember that he is on this team for one reason, and one reason only:

He will ruthlessly, unreservedly, cut a *****.

He's available to stand there with his bat on his shoulder. If he's not sure how, he can just ask his brother...
 
Braves have claimed INF Elliot Johnson off waivers from KC Royals. He will wear uniform #30 & will join the club tomorrow in St. Louis.
 
He had Mac on deck this time, only if Janish reached Mac hits with two outs and no runners in scoring position. I can't say I like those odds better than the 7th inning situation. Oh well now our only hope is this going extras.
