He'll go on the 60-day as soon as he is eligible to do so, which will make him a non-factor for the season when it comes to active and 40-man roster decisions, but like Biddle this past season, he'll have to go back on the 40-man after the 2017 season. Don't know much about him, so I will defer to those who do.
But I agree with Enscheff on the big picture. You don't trade depth simply because you can. We'll see on Jackson. Obviously some folks believe a change of scenery will get his head right (and from the comments by front office types outside of the Braves' brass, it appears his head is his biggest problem).
