I guess we didn't really need either of them... but a weird deal either way. Not too excited. Guess we just wanted another Jackson?
A little strange. Think I'd have just rather kept Jenkins. But I honestly don't think this trade will have much impact whatsoever on either side.
Any chance our scouts see something that makes them think he can start again? I know I'm reaching, but I'm just not excited about another bullpen arm.
His year at AA in 2014 was very good... then he was promoted to AAA and looked worse than Chris Ellis.
Seems like (from reading stuff about a player I didn't know anything about an hour ago) that Luke Jackson maybe has a higher upside as a reliever (closer/setup man). I suppose the braves might see some residual hope for him as a starter (but doubt it). Another former pretty high draft pick. Braves do like tools.
Braves seems to be acquiring a lot of young, high upside relievers for the pen.

Were both the guys we traded on the 40 man roster?
Tyrell is a guy that always seemed overrated by the fan base because people like him and he seems like a nice guy. Ultimately, he's pretty pointless to our rebuild. Doesn't miss enough bats to have much of a role with us. May as well to a shot at a guy who could be a late-inning reliever. I did like Feigl though.
Jenkins was, but Jackson takes his spot on the 40 man.

Oh yes I agree with that. I just don't see him panning out. Certainly worth a shot I guess.
better shot panning out then jenkins
