It does feel like a booby trap or something could have been set. I'm guessing the fact that they still held Daryl was preventing Rick and Co from doing anything drastic.
 
I really hate how the ****ty writing has completely bogged this show down. Most of the actors are good and the direction/cinematography is often very good. But it's a battle of incompetence between Rick and Negan.

The Sasha thing really had minimal impact and the flashbacks with Abraham...they would mean more if they had actually tried to develop that relationship when both of them were alive.

I wonder how serious the showrunners will be about this whole "war" thing. In reality, a bunch of people, including the main cast, would have to die.

I'm so done with this show after tonight.

They had about 10 chances to kill Neegan today and nothing happened. How incompetent is Rick as a leader? You bring all the cars wih the fencing around them. But you don't have one marksmen with gun pointed at Neegan the entire time? Not only that, you had like 30 guns ready to shoot at 5 people, one with a baseball bat and you don't take out any of them from like 30 yards away?

Very disappointing battle scene, considering. Is there not a back way out of that building???
 
Last year, they couldn't find guns. This year, they have more ammo than the Russian army.
 
Really disappointed with the season finale - certainly do not like the path the show is taking as far as potential future conflicts that were set up in the finale
