I think you are confused. He was set up over the middle of the plate. I think you were pimping the Soxs in the other thread to really know what you are saying.

I don't care whether a guy who hasn't been had a single average month thus far as a hitter doesn't play every day.

He has a wRC+ of 58 in 343 PA and he has made 14 errors en route to his negative WAR.

I've never been blown away by him and I don't particularly see any reason why the club should keep trotting him out every day if he isn't going to perform.

In July he's striking out 30% of the time and has a wRC+ of 24.

What on earth makes you think he deserves to continue getting at bats every day like he's Chipper Jones?

Send him to AAA? Sure if you like. I don't care.

We should definetely give up on him. His career is mapped out as a PR specialist.

BTW, despite the errors, fangraphs and BR have him as a plus defender

LOL 3 base runners then pulled after getting 1 out. I guess the rest of the inning will be pretty easy for him while sitting on the bench haha.

Matt Adams can't throw the baseball. Every time he has a chance to make a play with a throw, it's always stuck in his glove. Seriously

Yep. Look at conforto taking a big step backwards last year (1st full season) before coming back strong. Jackie Bradley jr is another guy that took a while. Both got sent back to AAA some their 1st full year to get things ironed out. Giving up on Swanson this early is just dumb... play him in Atlanta or Gwinnett
