Garcia being traded to Twins

Make a prediction genius. I assume you're smart enough to understand what a prediction is?

What is the value of the return Garcia will net the Braves now that his value has increased?

You're so smart and I'm so stupid, so educate me.

I have no clue. I don't study other teams prospects. I don't think we are going to get a future star, but seriously how do you not understand how things work?

So who are the additional starters that were made available in the last 24 hours that offset the increased demand?

Lol look, go ahead and predict the better return the Braves are going to get.

You have never, ever, been right on a topic involving player value when you've disagreed with me. Not once.

So let's try again.

How valuable is Garcia now?

Only if supply can't meet demand. There is plenty of 5th starter rental supply out there.

There's not many SP's out there actually.

At least none that will cost what Garcia will.

Note, im not saying we'll break apart someones farm but last nights start can only help the return for Garcia.

You made the argument that increased demand does impact price unless additonal supply offsets it.

Then you agreed the demand has increased for Garcia based on believing reports but st star that doesn't necessarily increase Garcia value. Based on your previous comment that would lead me to believe you think the supply has ibcreased.

So who else was made avaliable because if it's nobody else then based on your logic Garcias value has increased.

Very simple question you keep skirting around...

How much better of a prospect is he going to get in return now that his value has increased?

It's mind bottling someone is trying argue increased demand isn't a good thing

Excellent straw man. I didn't say the extra demand isn't a good thing. I said it doesn't increase Garcias value.

The Braves likely now have a larger selection of similarly valued prospects to pick from. That's unquestionably a good thing, but still the same value.

Work on your reading comprehension? Maybe? Someday?

I'm not interested in that argument because it's extremely subjective. I'm have a basic economic discussion with you here and I'd like to continue that conversation.

What additional supply was injected into the deadline economy that offsets the increased demand for Garcia?

So his value isn't increased AT ALL by 8 teams wanting him now instead of 1?

Lol. The Braves have more choices of similarly valuable prospects now, but they are all still equally valuable.

Garcias value has not changed.
