8/15 GDT: Atlanta Braves (52-64) at Colorado Rockies (66-52)

What's the deal with kemp? I know he was cleared, but nothing since. His defense is abysmal, but the braves are borderline unwatchable without him
 
I'm ready to say it: Newcomb will never be an important piece of a quality ball club.

They are unwatchable because of the god awful pitching. That's why I thought 74 wins would be the teams max this year. I hate watching any game in Coors field because the games seem so fake.
 
it is almost like Newk has a mental block to get the ball inside to righties. 2 years I have watched him and it is the same thing. Hitters can pretty much eliminate the inner half against him..
 
I'm not watching, but while there are issues with Newcomb I wouldn't take a Coors Field start and say that this is who this pitcher is. That said, he just starts chucking it down Broadway when he doesn't have command and was getting kind of lucky in early starts.
 
Or he just sucks at locating his pitches. I'm sure he tries but he'll end up throwing the ball outside instead.

How odd is it that literally every single pitcher acquired during the rebuild outside of Folty (and even he's had his struggles) has sucked major ass.

Blair, Wisler, Newcomb, Sims.

Barf city.

Newcomb has been much better than folty was his rookie year.

I'm not a big Newcomb guy, but your hate towards the dude is weird
