I don't care about motives. Less taxes are good and need to happen.

In about 15 other threads people have suggested taxing things in an effort to punish or stifle growth... I'm not sure why that logi doesn't apply to income and corporations

What an asinine statement. Aside from the obvious moral failure of his reasoning, I'm pretty sure the GOP could put me on the ballot in Alabama and win. The basic requirements for election are
1. Have an R beside your name
2. Don't be a sexual deviant

Economic "growth", full-stop, is not a be-all, end-all good in-and-of-itself. The kind of growth matters to achieving a just and healthy and the-good-aspirant society.
