Matt Kemp to Dodgers!

Kemp to the Dodgers?

Kazmir was mid 80's on his FB trying to come back late last year. If he can get back up over 90 then he may have back end of the rotation value. McCarthy same way with a little more upside. Culberson is a nothing, essentially Jace with a better contract.

I wouldn't just DFA Gonzalez. You pay him either way. I would have him on the bench in the Mike Adams role if nothing else, at least for a while. It would be stupid to DFA him then go sign a guy similar to Adams to come in and play a $2-$4M role on a team that is obviously not being counted on for anything in 2018.

I would put both Kazmir and McCarthy in the rotation if possible and hope they build enough value to let you at least move their second half salary if nothing else.

If Kazmir is physically able to pitch, I'd consider moving him to the pen.

Yeah - I have a feeling that is where he ends up to start the year. Almost an extended rehearsal considering he has had success in his pass.

I forsee Gonzalez signing with the Marlins for league minimum, completing his round trip.

I'm for trading him and going for Yelich.:icon_biggrin:

Now you're talking. I thought we were going to absorb salary to acquire Yelich but there is still long term dollars on those players that the Braves didn't want on their balance sheet.

The prospect haul to get him is going to be massive. Names that are going to hurt.

#Braves Anthopoulos on Acuña: "We expect him to factor at some point in 2018. We expect Ronald Acuna to be a very good player for a very good time. When he's ready to go, we're going to make room for him and certainly a move like this won't hurt."

If we can get Yelich without giving up Acuna or Albies, i'd do it.

It would hurt but the farm is deep enough to absurb such a deal.
