I will add that it was appropriate for the FBI to take an interest in the contents of the dossier, with the provision that the allegations and the reliability of the sources for those allegations should have been matters for investigation and verification.
I 100% agree with this. If the claims were verifiable and the sources were known its a completely different ball game and hte Dossier doesn't get disputed at all.
If he was aware of the Wikileaks data dump months before it happened how do you not immediately detain Papa after Wikileaks sends out its first wires? It doesn't make any sense.
The dossier is raw intelligence. Some of the details are wrong. But there is a lot in there that anticipated information that was subsequently revealed.
Wasn't it mostly flight information for Carter Paige?
What else was truly verified that was key?
Meeting in Trump Tower. The fact that the Russians were mounting an operation to influence the elections.
If the US needed this shady Dossier to know that then we are really ****ed.
With respect to Papadopoulos, I think one possibility is that Deep State let him go about his business in the hopes of learning more.
Wasn't it mostly flight information for Carter Paige?
What else was truly verified that was key?
Manafort's off-books payments from Party of Regions.
What does that have to do with the central purpose of this whole damn investigation? This extraneous relationship nonsense is getting tiresome. WHERE IS THE COLLUSION?
Uh, it's not material that the ****ing campaign manager had an undisclosed 10-figure financial relationship with a Russian puppet political party? Or, as we've subsequently learned, that he was deep in the hole to a Russian oligarch and sought to use his position to "get whole?" How is that extraneous?
