GDT 9/28/13: Phillies (Martin @ Braves (Minor) 7:10 PM

There is no way in h e double hockey sticks we beat the Dodgers.

Seriously. I'm getting kind of tired of this now.

Are you really a fan?

Do not answer and say "I'm a fan, I'm just being a realist."

You're clearly one of the worst fairweather bandwagon fans we've had here. Throughout the entire year you've done nothing but predict terrible outcomes, and then act surprised when they do good and say "I'm glad they shut me up."

There's always "I wouldn't be surprised if we get destroyed" or "This game is over (after the 1st inning and we give up 2 runs), or "I don't expect our team to do much." or "I doubt that happens, but ok."

Being a fan means being faithful that something good will happen. Even if it means we're down by 7-0, you are one of the WORST by far offenders of doom and gloom. I can really understand why many people here are annoyed by your schtick. I myself have become increasingly annoyed by reading you post this every few days.

Then go root for the Doggers then, if you want to pick them to win and stay off this site.

Pretty much everyone is picking them to win, they have the best rotation in baseball lead by the best pitcher on the planet.

I hope we could upset them but it won't matter if the bats stay cold, seems Freeman is in a slump, wonderful.

Could we win, who knows, playoffs are a crapshoot but they better turn it around when the playoffs start.

Well sliding into 1B in this game in any situation is irresponsible. But I love seeing some fire from anyone in that dugout.

Lol it was more than a sliding head first into 1B. There was something personal there. TP hemmed his ass up

To put my happiest face on it.

Two facts.

1. We entered this home stand with the inside track to getting homefield and have gone 3-3. The Cardinals have won when they're supposed to, and we haven't.
2. HOWEVER, when the last out is made tomorrow, we'll still be in the playoffs with the same odds of winning as any other team. So let's hope that some time between now and Thursday, we find a way to be as productive at driving in runners on base as we are slamming helmets and playing homer police.

Snitker, Fredi, and Tosca were just kind of like lol what.

TP was venting to Laird when he turned around and saw CJ and snapped on him.

Oh the old adage of you aren't a fan or you are a bandwagon fan if you say anything remotely negative about your team. You are all right. We are the best and have no flaws. We will win the whole thing because we have faith.

If TP really got physical, I hope the team suspends him. Someone has to do something to get this **** under control.

I'm just gonna go watch Shawshank so Andy can tell me again that hope is a good thing.

Bravo. I came to the same conclusion.

I still think we'll win HFA. Westbrook has been bad of late and the last time he pitched against the Cubs he gave up six runs. I have faith we'll blast the Phil's bullpen tomorrow. They got lucky tonight.

He did and everyone should have seen it. It is like a bully taking a scrub and slamming him against the wall in how Pendleton grabbed him, even though Johnson is big enough to wrestle in the WWE and Pendleton is like Daniel Bryan.

You take it to the next level.

I can count about 30 times this year where we were down like 5-0 or 4-1 after the first two innings and you would post "Ok I'm out, game's over", and then we ended up tying it, or coming back, or loss by a run. You've predicted we'd be swept several times this year and it didn't happen. We according to you have lost games before even playing 9 innings, and sometimes we have lost games before we even stepped out on the field to play.

It's unbelievable how negative you are. I see people on here post criticism, you on the other hand post in absolutes.

We haven't even played the damn NLDS yet, and yet we have "absolutely no shot against the Dodgers".

The same Dodgers that have basically struggled the last few weeks.

I wonder how many teams back in the day said to themselves "Glavine, Maddux, Smoltz, welp there goes our season. It was nice boys."

It's beyond frustrating and annoyingly stupid to see you post this crap almost every day. Heyward is not even HALF as bad as you when it comes to it.

And a lot of you need to raise your standards. Winning the world series is the goal and anything less is a failure. If you are happy with a good record in the regular season and nothing to show for it in the playoffs, then so be it. I am not a fan though because I want us to win it all and I am very critical of the team. You can be critical and still love your team. I don't see why people can't understand this.
