The title of this topic, the name given to Ronald Acuna, Jr by some, and all the political BS make this a highly offensive topic. I came here to this site to talk baseball, not political BS, not to give props to a country in so much turmoil by citing a highly talented ball player(not to mention the other 5 Braves players from Venezulea) and compare Acuna Jr to an existing player. The kid needs his own time to develop into an MLB great.
I think highly offensive is a bit extreme

You’re offended the OP compared acuna to trout? Yeah, that is so offensive (eye roll). The political stuff is garbage on the main board no matter which side I agree with.
Ronald went 2-2 today with a double off the CF wall. 2 more stolen bases.
He is now 13-30, 1 HR, 4 RBI, and 4 SB.
.433 average
19.4% K%. 8.3% BB%.

Seems sustainable.

It's not, but I've never said he'd hit .433.
I'd say he'll hit in the .300 range with 30 bombs and 30 swipes.
7.5 AB per steal in ST. Let's say he gets 550 AB this year.
That's 73 steals. I think he'll slow down a bit because he's not going to hit .433, but 30 is definitely within reach. Likely even.
Is it possible to hit .433 without a good BABIP?
Anybody who tries to add anything to that discussion obviously doesn't actually understand the game.
