He is in this regard a latter-day Adonijah, who had himself crowned king while his father King David was alive. And, like Adonijah, Mohammed bin Salman has made some very powerful enemies in the process. Unlike that Biblical figure, however, he has his father’s support and has taken care to arrest anyone who might threaten his drive to preeminence.

Jared Kushner, U.S. President Donald Trump’s son-in-law and senior advisor, was in Riyadh again only recently. It was his third trip to Saudi Arabia since Trump took office. He again met with Crown Prince Mohammed bin Salman, with whom he appears to have established a close personal relationship. It should therefore come as no surprise that Trump, who shares the young crown prince’s antipathy toward Iran, has commented favorably on the recent developments in Riyadh.

Perhaps we look at Trump and Kushner's finances.
Perhaps diplomatically we give this a year or maybe 2 to see how this plays out before declaring victory.
I'd bet a dollar next to a do nut in 1954 there was high praise aimed at that administration. I'd bet after WWI there was high praise for that administrations middle east policy.
Even Jefferson had to pay his way out of the ME.

What was the carrot Kushner used ?

They need to learn how to be a victim. They need to start crying and saying they don't feel safe. I thought if public schools taught anything it's how to properly throw a tantrum when you are offended.

Would you like proof that this is happening? This administration has made it one of their driving objectives to break up these sex rings that ultimately cause the slavery of young women around the world. And to mock that it doesn't exist is one of the most disgusting things you've said on this board. This is happening around the world and we need to save the women who have fallen victim to it.
