Russia Collusion Scandal (aka A Leftist fantasy)

With all these accounts of staffers talking about how Michael Cohen was known to record all conversations, it seems quite possible that Mueller had also heard this and a treasure trove of recordings was his real target in the surprise raids.

WaPo has recaptured it's mojo since Bezos bought it. It's a great paper imo. I like it better than the Times or WSJ.

I think it's horrible. It's basically been reduced to a short-form aggregator - much of it recycled (a la Politico). Also, their paywall is berserk.

But I will agree that Bezos has breathed new life into its digital platform.

I get the NYT/WSJ paper product each morning. SF Chron on Sundays.

NYT has the best writing, always.

Well that settles it. A liar with no integrity just vouched for the honesty and integrity of another person.

oh newt is garbage for sure

you should go read his tweets over the last year since that tweet since it seems you missed why it's funny to see the likes of idiots like him and thethe and the dumbass in chief attack him now

I get WaPo & WSJ digitally. NYT I figured out ways to exceed my allotment of free articles. I agree on NYT having the best writing. But I think they make some odd choices about what to cover and what not to cover. I still read SF Chron for coverage of weird weather events in NorCal.

The guy is truly an idiot if he thought that large of a mistruth might prevail.

Still ... unnamed sources. Let the usual caveats apply.

It depends on how he entered. By commercial flight, it would have likely been scanned at some point during the departure process. And there would be a paper trail/security cameras etc. By train, no identification required and the ticket could have been purchased by anyone at anytime, basically anywhere. No immigration control apparatus at the station - even when Schengen wasn't in place they used to check passports on the train on the first stop after you crossed the border.

Of course, they could have checked security cameras at Prague Central for trains inbound from Germany (there aren't a ton). Express trains from Dresden/Nuremberg/Berlin ... local trains from smaller border towns wouldn't go directly into Prague.

Then again, he also could have just been driven ... although that he ended up in Prague, specifically, as opposed to a smaller town elsewhere would seem to indicate that he arrived via plane or train.

It's actually quite fascinating. If Cohen was actually in Prague I'm sure plenty of evidence can be unearthed.
