GDT: 4/14/2018 Cubs

Ok let me read it again

Hmm... this is posted during the 8th inning.

Let's see how my reading comprehension is:

"If you pull Newcomb" - I comprehend that as someone saying if we had pulled Newcomb after the 5th...

"this isn't an issue" - I comprehend that as the 8th inning going much more smoothly for us

So where did I mess up the comprehension?

Surely you know, because you agree with her

Look, you dumbass Enscheff brown-noser. I did not blame Newk for the loss, I blamed Snit. how hard is that for you to understand? D

Bottom line, we lost with using Jackson who sucks, leaving Ramirez in when he couldn't throw strikes and an overused Sam Freeman who also was wild. There were better bullpen arms we could've used to save the win and Snit didn't use them.

Jackson is awful, he shouldnt be pitching in a game like this.

Ramirez has showed flashes of good pitching, the weather conditions were so bad i'd give him a break.

I went to take a shower and came back and heard the hit making it 10-10, this is the most embarrassing loss maybe in Braves history.

Reminds me of the big blown lead against the Nationals a couple of years ago when Dan Uggla hit the winning HR for the Nationals against Grilli. Game had the same feel.

The Braves record at this point is 8-6. You can blame 3 of the losses on Snitckers because of very poor bench use and BP use. Run out of players going into an extra inning game is unexcusable. Time for him to go??

Hernandez should have been gone before the start of this season. Now with BP leading the majors in BBs why is he still around. He NEEDS to go NOW!!! Get to work AA and do your job. Your job is not just players, but coaches and managers. Hernandez should not see ATL in a Braves uni!!!!! I still don't understand replacing McDo-well with Hernandez???

I'm not blaming this game on Newcomb, I'm saying simply maybe if you pull him after 5, it doesn't start the snowballing. Maybe you put in Shane Carle for two innings, then go to the mop-up guys and have no problem.

Then maybe with the 8th inning in the case you did have, considering you do need to build up Minter, maybe you put in Minter instead of putting in the guy you'd consider the 5th guy behind Vizcaino/Minter/Freeman/Winkler.

Or maybe, with it being 10-5, don't put in Jackson at all and have Shane Carle maybe even finish the game, as it's been a few days since he pitched. He's shown good control and while he may give up a run or 2, it may not end up being walkathon.

Heck, with how Shane Carle has done, you can make a good argument that Ramirez isn't even the 5th guy.

Was at work, saw the Braves were up like 10-2, thought "good job Braves". Driving home from work and I turn on the radio (sadly live in Cubs market) only for the announcers to say the Cubs scored 9 runs in the 8th inning to come back and win. WTF. I then go to ESPN.com to try to make some sense of this and the 30 second video is somehow even worse than I imagined. I'd be infuriated if I had watched that game from start to finish, so gross.
