Like someone else said, given that this was a bad weather game, the typical things that come from this may not be as true. They may forget about this shortly.

I use to be a die hard fan who cared too much, now I enjoy a good ballgame but don't live and die over them. There are too many more important issues in life to let a game effect you to the point it ruins your whole night, etc.
