4/29 rubber game vs Phillies

I see acuna as being a 100+ walk guy

In time he will be. If he gets to the point where he is hitting bombs all over the place he will be pitched more carefully. Then it will be up to him to adjust and take those pitches and not get himself out. This has happened with Freeman recently and of course you've seen it with Harper the last two seasons.

True. I just don't buy into the fact that hitters get fastballs pumped in there with an elite hitter behind him in fear of a walk.

The only time I buy it is with three balls because it may dictate how afraid a pitcher to throw a strike. This obviously isn’t based on statistics, so I wouldn’t be surprised if I’m wrong.

There are certain situations like a 3-0 count. I think a pitcher may also throw more fastballs with a notorious basestealer on 1st as well. But who's hitting behind you? That's just dumb.

As a good reminder to avoid quantity over quality trades, peak a gander at Alfaro, Nick Williams and Jake Thompson who were the main parts of the Cole Hamels trade. All of those guys are below replacement level players.

That’s an unfair criticism to make of Amaro because we don’t know what was on the table, but through the Braves bad quantity trades I feel like I’m always going to hate teams that settle for that.
