Hmm. Well, I think there's significant movement in that direction (and I think the jumping ship of Paul Ryan and Trey Gowdy are rather suggestive), but what you're consistently saying is that it isn't so because it hasn't happened yet.
Maybe it won't. I was wrong about Trump's election, and I could be wrong about this. I can see the other possibilities, but my bottom line is that if you elevate a questionably-competent crook to the presidency, it's basically just a waiting game. Two years seems interminably long by some measures, but it's hardly an eternity.
