It's really this simple: there was a Russian effort to influence the election to the benefit of Donald Trump. The Trump campaign and their allies gave extensive cover to those efforts, wittingly or not. The Trump campaign encouraged attempts to cooperate when the least suspicious course would have been reporting them to authorities. After the fact, they have consistently lied and misrepresented their actions.

That undeniable confluence of facts needs to be understood and publicly aired before this thing can be put to bed.

According the Muellers indictment the primary goal was to sow discord. Putin probably realized that the left would have an absolute panic attack and drag out the #resistance and cause more damage to America.

What is the cover here? That the new foreign policy agenda doesn't believe that Russia is our greatest threat? What cover was there to be given as a candidate? Seems the Obama administration dropped the ball and should be held accountable for that and not candidate Trump

When put under the light of a farse of an investigation and knowing around every corner a member of the deep state has shown a strong prefernce towards the previous regime and your defeated candidate then I don't blame them. And the 'lies' have been disputed such as what Flynn/Papa copped to at this point. We are seeing potential 'entrapment' situations such as the Russian adoption meeting or the involvement of Halper and even Mifsud looks suspect now.

That undeniable confluence of facts needs to be understood and publicly aired before this thing can be put to bed.

Until the left realizes that this was a sting operation from the beginning to explain their embarrassing defeat to Donald effing Trump we will never move on. Their ideas are being rebuked across the Western world. This is not isolated because of the racists in America or the Russians changing voting booths. The only way this moves on is the left comes to grips with the fact that they have been hoodwinked. Take the L and move on and lets work together on whats best for this country.

One small detail I'm curious about...did the sting operation start before or after this defeat...from a teleological perspective it matters
