It's amazing how Julio's control has deteriorated under Hernandez.

A pitching coach isn't the reason a Julio can't throw strikes anymore. He just has deteriorating stuff and is afraid to throw it in the strike zone.

I think there is a legitimate argument to be made about Glavine. Not that he couldn't pitch in todays era but he's no HOFer with that ability right now. Maddux is a different animal. Literal argument he's the best pitcher ever.

I agree. Maddux could put the ball wherever he wanted to and get batters out in a multitude of ways. Glavine lived by putting the ball a few inches off the plate--over and over again--for strikes.
