Phillips deserved better, he was over 31 pitches on that pop up homer. If he gets sent back down that is mistake, he can pitch but Flowers isn't good at catching these new pitchers. Good at framing but doesn't call pitches to their strengths enough and makes bad calls too often.

thats a 314 foot popup, it probably doesnt matter with Chapman pitching the 9th but dont blame Flowers there.

I don't know about the pitch calling, but flowers has let several balls get by him tonight and struck out 4 times. Just an awful night. No way I DH him tomorrow

yea he has been a good closer for the G-Braves going 1.1 innings at most. Good news is he could still hit a high of 95 mph but missed location probably tiring there. Hope he stays up and is rested the next few.
