The Braves are what 10 games over .500 and somehow they have under-performed? Only this place I guess...

Interesting how when we were more than 10 games over .500 and winning series you were nowhere to be seen here... but have suddenly appeared like a Wild Pokemon now that the team has been in a funk.

The Braves have lost six of seven and I really hope this isn't the start of a free-fall.
It's not even the All-Star break yet, so I'm not panicking, but it's definitely frustrating.

They had 1 rough stretch earlier but got it worked out. They will again.

The nats couldn't have played the 1st half any worse, and I'm not sure the braves can play baseball than they have for the 1st half. The braves still find themselves in 2nd place, and the nats are only 4.5 behind the braves. The braves seem to have limited money to add pieces while our division foes aren't restricted there. The braves have a brutal schedule while the Phillies have a cake walk. This isn't shaping up well imo

Yeah, but it was 7 less than a week ago. They close out 1 half vs the Mets, and won't see degrom. We close out vs dbacks. We make a trip to Washington to start 2nd half. That lead could be all but gone 3 games after the break. The braves better wake up... like today
I like how they played good until my cutoff for thinking they were good, then dumped that trick for the garbage baseball I fully expected this season, but only once my hopes were up and defences down ...

Yeah. Honestly, this team looks like a shell of the team we fell in love with earlier in the year. I don’t think they are this bad at all, but they better wake up.
Don’t blame this on no trades though. We could have made two of three trades at this point, and Dansby would have still booted that ball, and Freddie would have still missed that ball, AND any of us would have wanted Minter up then to face the heart of their order.
One of our best defensive guys had an error.
Our biggest star had an error.
Our hottest pitcher didn’t come through.
That has NOTHING to do with the lack of moves...that has to do with key guys failing.
How many winnable games have we booted just like that one? I know these things happen during a season, but sure seems we have alot of them. In a close race...that will probably be the difference in who plays in the post season and who doesn’t.

True. I don't like the trend though. Phillies +20 in July. The schedules in July for each team mirror August too... Phillies easy and braves hard

I’ll take the 90 game sample size over the 10 game sample size. We’ll see though. This is certainly the worst we’ve looked all year.

Put Fro-Albies (even though Kakes has a decent fro as well) and VenzTrout back at one and two in the lineup and Ender back down, it seems to me we were better, were we?

Yeah. Like this season was the everything had to go right scenario. That was the everything went wrong scenario. Sad times.

If in March someone would have said the Braves would be 10 games over .500 on July 11th everyone here would have circle jerked around ensheff.
