What is that 2 bbs to Kershaw?
You guys remember when we almost traded Wood for Seager?
Did they give us a choice of Seager or Olivera?

I remember arguing about helping an ace out by giving away outs early in the count when Scherzer shut us out.

Scherzer himself credited him going the distance to the Braves getting so many first pitch outs.
Pretty sure it was either Seager/Pederson or Olivera/Rodriguez
Albies is missing multiple pitches up in the zone that are hittable.
Then he gets a hit on 0-2. It's something.
Did you know Kershaw gives up a higher batting average on his first pitch than any other. The Dodgers broadcast team put it up. Something like a .370 average when hitters swing at the first pitch. The second pitch is almost as high. After that it is much lower. What is the proper response by hitters when faced with that data.
Chipper always preached going after the first pitch when facing really tough pitchers.
Oh geez that's terrible if it was a possibility but didn't happen. I'm thankful that the old regimen is gone.
Hit off the end of the bat to center field bringing up Freddie for our only prayer of the night.
