Julio is either very due to crash and burn against the Mets or he's going to throw another 7 shutout innings at Citi Field.

Swanson OPS in the second half of the season: .533

That's why Snit has been giving games to Culberson at short. I hope Charlie keeps playing well. I have my doubts. I'm still perplexed about AA's inability to get some depth for the left side of the infield.

Since break, culberson has been better with the bat for sure: .355/.355/.581. Not sure it will continue... .500 babip, 0% bb, 32.3% k, (31 pa)

Yeah. I was looking at those numbers. For the season Charlie has a 25.6% K rate and .358 BABIP. I lean pretty strongly toward the view that Charlie's performance this year is mainly due to luck rather than sustainable improvement. There might be a little of the latter. But not enough to expect him to outperform Dansby the rest of the year. It would be great to have someone like Solarte or Asdrubal Cabrera to shore up the left side of the infield.

Wow: yes, this is a legit source.

Braves TV Ratings up 51% this season (biggest increase in the NL, second best in MLB). Cardinals have best TV Ratings. White Sox have the worst

This is about as easy of a game as it gets in MLB... though I know nothing is easy. Point is, we’ve gotta get this win.
