GDT - August 7th, 2018 - Game 1 of 2 - 1:05 @ Nationals

so possibly hitting the wall was irrelevant at that point.

I think the ump just made the call that it hit the wall, and since Soto was out anyways the Braves didn't challenge. Ender's glove was pretty clearly between the ball and the wall...at least to my biased eyes.

Want to bet the "he isn't used to coming out of the BP" excuse isn't used if Allard struggles?

Name your stakes

Reading comprehension? Not the point I was making. You are so anxious for a fight you are putting words in people's mouths that they are not even saying.

interesting. i didn't think it did either.

There was no clear camera angle to see if any part of the ball touched the wall. It appeared that the wall knocked the ball from Ender's glove but, given the lack of evidence, we'll never know.

I'm okay with the definitive way in which it was ruled because neither side can complain.

i mean, you're kinda crying about the whole thing really. i just don't get pointing it out each time, like you're the only who noticed it lol

The last time I pointed it out, I was criticized saying Soto just had a SSS compared to Acuna. This isn't the case any more. I want to see Acuna start cutting down on his Ks like Soto. I hope these comparisons start tilting more to Acuna's favor

Probably should just go ahead and move fried to the pen if starting creates these blister issues. I'm assuming that's why he's out... walked away a while

I wonder...

Is there a forum somewhere out there full of Nats fans complaining about how insanely lucky the Braves have gotten so far this game?

it's still a relatively small sample. what soto is doing offensively is basically unheard of. like literally the best teenage season of all-time. so i'm not disappointed acuña isn't doing the same thing. acuña has been very good for a 20-year old. and i'll still take him long-term.
