The Phils just gave 3/60 to a 1B, and now had to get another one in August.
Moves like these are what we have to hope the Phils continue to do so they waste their vastly superior resources.

135wRC+ vs lefties this year.
might be worth a look.
The Braves need a 3B with a 135 wRC+ vs RHP. They are already a very potent offense vs LHP, which is partly why the Duvall trade was a bit odd.
In fact, they really just need anyone who can hit RHP even moderately competently at this point. Flaherty should not be getting PAs in high leverage spots.
Like bour
Kind of wish there’d been a Bour War. Instead the Phillies blocked dude from getting bid on.
Soto is a twat. He just stared a cubs pitcher down the whole AB, and actually got on with a walk. He then got picked off. He acted a butt before leaving field. I hate this kid
I thought it was the Boor War
They got some pieces I’d like to part out into our OF. The worst GM the betterThe Mets are likely to hire a baseball dinosaur as their new GM so he can relate to their fossil dinosaur owner:

While more teams are increasingly turning towards younger executives with analytics backgrounds to run their baseball operations departments, as the 81-year-old Wilpon isn’t likely to hire the type of younger executive “with whom he would perhaps have difficulty connecting.”
Puma also notes that some Mets officials feel that the Alderson front office “became too analytics driven in recent seasons.”
That is good news for the rest of the NL East. As long as the Mets are stuck in the past and run incompetently that's one less competitor in the division.
Now if we can just get all the "old school" announcers and fans on this board to jump on the Mets bandwagon, it would be doubly sweet. They can revel in fandom of an anti-analytic team and enjoy being a terrible organization...but at least they will be able to understand what's going on!!
But it could’ve been so much Bour than that.

Terrible defensively though. Would his offense make up for that?
I just noticed that Soto was picked off twice. Awesome.Soto is a twat. He just stared a cubs pitcher down the whole AB, and actually got on with a walk. He then got picked off. He acted a butt before leaving field. I hate this kid
