Using Winkler doesn't burn him for tomorrow.

it does for me, rather not use him three straight games. He is more likely to be sharp if rested after two straight and then you have him for game four.

winkler would be pitching in his third straight tomorrow in that case.

Winkler's pitched the 3rd, 5th, 7th, 8th, 11th and tonight this month, not sure where you're seeing hes gone 3 in a row.

Allard is the least reliable pitcher in the pen and he's the designated emergency long relief man and potentially even a contingency starter for Sanchez tomorrow.

Everyone in the pen but Sobotka figures to be available tomorrow.

I thought someone said he pitched sunday but you're right I double checked. In that case I agree with having him available tomorrow. I still didn't like not using Allard today though as I don't want him in a close game tomorrow.

I actually think widening his stance and starting with his hands back higher would do wonders for him. He doesn't generate a ton of bat speed, and he struggles to make contact because he can't generate that speed.
