Great win! This has been a great day.
I already know your view from game one, it's not the best plan though as enscheff noted: http://www.chopcountry.com/forums/showthread.php?t=8535&page=16&p=527884#post527884.
After watching these commercials with Chip Caray in them I'm fully convinced he actually is on cocaine.
I thought someone said he pitched sunday but you're right I double checked. In that case I agree with having him available tomorrow. I still didn't like not using Allard today though as I don't want him in a close game tomorrow.
It wasnt the best but not using Venters, Brach, or Minter today is a win.
And Jackson, Winkler, Biddle should all be available as well. Sobotka is probably only one who cant go on Tuesday. Pen is in fine shape.
there isn't any particular reason why Allard would pitch in a close game tomorrow.
The Braves have everyone available in their pen. Even Luke Jackson is a better option to pitch than Allard.
The only way Allard is likely to get in the game is if Sanchez can't go, he leaves the game absurdly early, or the Braves get blown out.

Pen is in good shape thanks to Folty going 8, I just don't want to see Allard tomorrow in relief and don't trust snit not to use him in a close one if Sanchez leaves early or only goes 5.
If it's a close game, Brach/Minter/Winkler/Venters would be in before Allard. Besides, if Sanchez is good, Allard may get down for a fresh arm anyway.
Nats blow 2-run lead in 8th. Cards up 5-4 on 3-run Carpenter HR
6-4 really. That pen.
nats winning late again, be funny if they blew another
