GDT- 8/14/18 ....RETURN OF THE NIGHT OF THE ANIBAL- THIS TIME HE MEANS WAR

Look at Acuna’s homer run spray chart:

Acuna's K% down to 28 on the year. Highest ISO for a 20 year old in the modern era

Yep. ISO through age 20, Minimum of 280 PAs: 1) RA, Jr. at .288. 2-10) Ted W., Horner, F.Robinson, Stanton, Soto, Conigliaro, A Roid, Correa, and The American Acuna (at .226).

It's interesting that 5 of the 10 (Acuna, Stanton, Soto, Correa, and Trout) are very recent guys. Two are players whose careers were curtailed by injuries (Conigliaro and Horner). Three are all-time greats (Williams, Robinson, and Rodriguez).

Chipper had a couple of unreal stretches in his MVP year. He was so dialed in it seemed like he never swung ‘til he got the pitch he wanted, then beasted it.

Druw’s 50-homer season was fairly bonkers, too.

Justin Upton in April and August?

I remember Troy Glaus and Dan Uggla having an amazing stretch for us as well, but I don't quite remember it being this good.

we're back up to the best run differential in the NL.

at this point of the season it tells you someting... btw the NL has a winning interleague record which also tells you something...the has AL has 3 teams that are Miami Marlins bad...the NL has one

I have often wondered this. The entire AL central is garbage sans Cleveland. AL west sans Houston and they look pedestrian. The east is two good teams and an ok Rays team. I can’t think of teams in the AL like say the Muts who are bad but have the pitching to beat you any given day.

Edit**. Will toss the A’s a bone.
