Tomorrow I give Freeman, Markakis and Albies a day off. Duda starts at first, Duvall who is hitting .333 with 1 homer vs Nola starts in LF, and Culberson starts at second. Acuna moves to RF for Markakis.
Rest them all same day and get the bench ready for postseason.
tomorrow and first game against the Mets should be an all scrubs lineup so the regulars can rest/party...should be a fun off day in new york Sunday night/Monday

Must be a tough pill for that guy to swallow giving credit to AA when he was connected to the Hart and Coppy scandal. AA was hired by McGuirk, with JS being shoved to the side.
And he wasn't even AA's introductory press conference. Bobby was.

Yeah. If it were up to him he would have just swept the Hart/Coppy thing under the rug. He probably would have gotten axed too but he is nothing more than a figurehead with a title and no executive power at this point. Was telling that McGuirk didn't want him to have anything to do with the hiring process nor introductory presser.
No doubt he wouldn't have hired AA if up to him.

agreed
Nope. He was going to hire Dan O'Dowd and this board would be a wasteland right now.

In fairness, a lot of us were skeptical on AA's hiring because we felt he wasn't extreme enough into analytics. I guess he really did learn a bunch during his time in the Dodgers Front Office.
Can't complain with the results he's gotten and moves he's made.
