I've stayed off the trigger because I feel that AA is currently playing poker on any potential deals (or blind man's bluff). Betting they are trying to agree on pieces that will complete a deal; betting that the principals are agreed upon. Still feel it's close to a 50 percent chance that JTR and Kluber will be Braves well before Opening Day. Kimbrel? Only if he comes way off his asking price!

IDK about Kluber now. The smart way to get Kluber would be an Inciarte package, maybe with Camargo and a lesser minor league piece. But that only works if the Braves had signed Pollock or signed or traded for a couple of legit corner OF like Pederson. I think if you trade prospects for BOTH Kluber and JTR then you're emptying the minors way too much and the Indians have said they want a ML OF back. I laid out an idea the other day about how it could get done but it would take some maneuvering. You could go: Inciarte, Camargo and Allard to Cleveland for Kluber, then trade with LA for Pederson, sign Adam Jones to platoon out there on the corners. Then you're giving up prospects to get JTR (under my scenario the Braves don't get JTR).
I guess keeping Inciarte and trading prospects for both probably would come out about the same in terms of prospect capital BUT Cleveland wants a ML OF from what I've heard.

Over 50% chance that we get JTR AND Kluber? I'd say the chances of that are probably around 2% lol.
I think we'll make one more offseason addition that is relatively significant, I just don't know the magnitude or the position it'll come from.
I think we have a strong offer go JTR and it really depends on if someone out bids us. I don’t think our offer would change.
I feel we would have to add Ender to any package to get Kluber that would not kill the farm. I would be good for a Ender, Newk, prospects package...they would need to take Julio in the deal.
I’m not sure AA does either because the value would have to be right and I feel you are over paying for either of these guys.
Just sign Machado and send a package of Dansby, Newk plus...ok?

Giants have signed former Braves pitcher Brandon Beachy to a minor league deal
India is, at best, as valuable as Riley or Anderson, but probably less valuable. It’s not a clear cut or huge difference, but I think most sources rank both Braves prospects higher than India.
Barnhart is something like a 1-2 win catcher under control for 3-4 years at the salary of a good bench player. A low end regular that doesn’t carry much value when someone like Flowers or Suzuki can be signed pretty much every off season for similar dollars.
If Riley plus Anderson really is on the table, this reported offer from the Reds isn’t even close to the same value. If Anderson is truly off limits and the package on the table is Riley plus someone like Wilson, the Braves package is still probably better.
