Dodgers are much more loaded overall as a team and when you consider how close the games were having a great hitter like Hanley could have changed at least one of them. We couldn't get Hanley out last series. If he was hurt Braves probably are playing the Cardinals.

We also pitched very poorly to Hanely and pretty much their entire team the whole series too. Good pitching can and will get him out. Just like anybody else. If the Braves pitching didn't **** the bed we would of easily won. But they did. Hanley is a really good hitter. But they can only do so much.

Certainly doesn't guarantee anything but if he's healthy, I'm pretty confident it's 3-2 LA, with Kershaw going for the series.

That's like Beltran or Molina getting drilled in the ribs, that would make no difference?

You aren't wrong but he can barely grip a bat right now, it's sad to watch.

A great hitter can carry a team, all the games have basically been close, he could impact the series greatly if healthy and as thethe said, we couldn't get the guy out.

Hanley and Puig tore us up. No question that if Hanley was hurt during our series, we'd still be playing.

If only it was that simple. The/the and Heyward came on here proclaiming the Dodgers as the best team and that no one could match up with Greinke/Kershaw/Ryu. No matter how the series goes, that it is blatantly obvious as several posters pointed out, that the Cards could get them a good series bc they have starters that can match up with the Dodgers.

If Hanley is worth a win in a 5 game sample, he's....let me calculate.........a 32.5 win player. Is that a record?

That is not how WAR works. He would be a portion of a win that would ultimately lead to a win combined with other players. Great job showing you know what you are talking about.

Well for one thing his ability allows other guys to get more opportunities by the shear fact he gets on base.

But my main point was that other guys contribute to the win as well and his contribution is a part of a whole win and that they need just a little more in a low scoring game to get a win.

Absolutely, it's 3-2 Stl.

Game 1 and 2 were one run games, he didn't play in Game 2, I guess they win that with him..

Regards to Craig, LA is also without Kemp.

It's 3-2 LA with Hanley healthy.

Also.

Greinke gave up 2 runs both times.

Ryu threw a shutout.

Kershaw gave up 1 run.

Nolasco three through 5.

They've outplayed them in pretty much all the games so far, a healthy Hanley and they are up 3-2 with Kershaw going for the series, no question about it.

By that, series should be over or 3-2 LA.
 
How many runs did the Cards starters give up? The ones that cant match the Dodgers?

Dodgers starters have given up 8 runs in 5 games.

Cards starters have given up 10 or 11 runs in 5 games.

Btw, I never said they can't match the Dodgers starters, but Dodgers starters are better as proven by above.

Hanley is healthy, it's probably 3-2 LA.
