Just like he would start pouting and let it affect his performance if we got rid of his brother-in-law right?

Much more worried about his performance overall - couldn't care less about whether his pouting will make it worse. He had what was arguably the best three month stretch of his career during the first half last year and still turned back into the pumpkin that he's become down the stretch while playing all 162 games.

We bring up the increased revenue from the Battery a lot around here without taking into account its small sample size. Some of the businesses in there have already gone under during this offseason. Braves management may be playing it safe with their revenue assumptions until they have a longer track record of success.

I looked but didn't see any. I did see where the braves and the developers of the apartments there sold them off for a cool 150 million.

I doubt it's going to affected at all. He saw the market for his services after one of his best years. And he's always been an team first guy.

And he's probably smart enough to realize that being given an extra day off 2-3 times a month will actually help him over the course of the season.

I'd rather see Touki or Luiz in the rotation over Julio.

Could make some sense to use one of them as an Opener on Julio's "start" days if they're going to be in the pen anyway.

Apply it all directly to the debt so AA will be working with a 2020 payroll of $200 million.

It is not guaranteed so we can basically cut him during spring and owe him hardly any money

I think we're going to have to put 2 young guys in the pen. We have 1 rotation spot and 5 AAA spots that have to go to 8 pitchers. I think Weigel or Wilson may go to major league pen as well unless we make them a AAA late inning guy.

Hoping for a big year out of him. Also hoping that the decide to keep Gohara as a starter where he has the most value. If he can prove to have a good spring and/or first half, then he becomes a more valuable trade piece (talking about Gohara)...

they have to keep trying him at SP. and if he's as good as i think he can be, i don't really want to deal him. easy to forget how good he was in 2017 at the majors.
