Is Free Speech Under Attack in this Country?

Anti-vaxx media and point of views being censored everywhere. What is the deep state trying to suppress about anti-vaxx truth.
 
I mean you're the one who doesn't want people to exercise their rights to control speech in their own businesses, houses, etc. Weird take from the "libertarian"

So you don't think that people have the right to control what is said in their business. Got it. You believe in freedoms, but only when they're convenient to yourself. Got it.

I do "comprehend" what you're attempting to do. But you're not "comprehending" why I don't give a flying ****. THere's plenty of places where the conservative white male can say and do what they want. People are allowed to tell them to **** off at their house, business, college, etc.

I'll say it again. Read very slowly. Read it back to yourself 3 times. Then think about how you might respond. Then - if you came to a different conclusion - try to respond.

I believe companies have the right to do whatever they want... They can restrict all speech that they want.

I don't believe companies should do this, because it doesn't establish a respect for all speech in this country.

I also believe a restaurant can hang up a sign that says "no jews allowed". But I don't believe said restaurant should do this, because it doesn't respect the liberty of all individuals.

In your restaurant scenario is it just a sign that says ‘no Jews allowed’ but they still let them in or do they actively not let Jews in?



You can’t do that.

I think a private business can refuse service to any person for any reason. (But in case zito is following, I don't think they should).

I think a Jewish Baker should be able to refuse service to a Nazi.

I think a black owner should be able to refuse service to a KKK person.

I think that's their right as a private business owner

Gotcha. I agree 100% you didn’t say ‘private’ in the original scenario so that threw me off. Hooters or Applebee’s can’t deny Jews or blacks coming into to eat but a private restaurant should be able to.
