If we knew they wanted him we should have gone for a Simba-Freeman swap straight up.
Might as well throw in newk

Lmao. Screw off with this mess, AA.
Also, if it's true, something like Greinke makes sense as to why we'd go light in another area.
Great, so this means the Braves can still take on a "really big salary".

I think he answered the question about bringing back Neck instead of signing Brantly..."sometimes players will sign for a number somewhere, but won't sign for that amount somewhere else."
Case in point, McCann...so I can accept that argument
Chuck Oliver was going after AA in the interview. Listen to this. https://twitter.com/prospectsbraves/status/1111025367584854016?s=21

I will stick in AA's corner here.
If you think Chuck is bad, just read all the comments of "knowledgeable" braves fans on their Facebook posts.
In any other offseason Donaldson would have been a huge get, signing one of the most prolific offensive 3B in the game. I still like the flexibility AA has. And I'm actually excited to see Wright and Wilson show upstairs that they're ready to stay upstairs.
The Braves are a mid market payroll team at best. For many fans that hasn't sunk in yet. This ain't the Ted Turner Braves that can just compete for top FA's. I don't care how ninor extra profit the Battery brings in. It's not going to boost us to a top 5 payroll.
