GDT 3/31 - TONIGHT EMMA DANCES

The good news is that the Braves never lose more than 4 games in a row, so they're guaranteed to win tomorrow.

I am not really surprised with the young pitching. I really thought our offense would win a game for us though. That is what I am really disappointed with. The offense was pretty much as bad as our pitching. I thought we would steal one game.

How? They scored 10 runs in the first two games, with Acuna and Donaldson doing nothing.

The Phillies have destroyed us. Sure we're not at full strength, but pressure is mounting on AA. Fans have been restless and this is AA has to feeling pressure really early. He may do something dumb

I think either I heard AA say something to this effect, or someone on here noted him saying he’s riding this thing out. He’s not under any pressure, nor does he feel any heat by this. For good or for bad, this is our team this year. He won’t make a move just bc the fans are calling for it, for right or for wrong. He just won’t do it. And I know he keeps saying we have enough amno to make a move later in the year at the deadline, but it’s my fear that that’s more lip service. We’ll fall far enough back for him to say, ‘oh well we’re too far out and we don’t want to move our prospects when we realistically can’t make the playoffs this year.’ It’s almost as if he always has one excuse in the queue. All we heard this offseason is, ‘well we just didn’t see enough value to make a move. But we were 70% there on one deal. And we almost made a big move, but we just couldn’t close the deal.’ Always an excuse as to why we aren’t doing anything. He’s either a moron who can’t negotiate or a liar. Either way he’s not doing a damn thing to fix this team.

You are right in a way. Let me change that statement. I thought we would have one game in which the offense exploded (8-10 runs in a game), and win 8-5 (even with bad pitching).

There is overreaction at losing the first three and then there is legitimate complaining about AA's wasted offseason and general ineptitude. The latter should not be mistaken for the former.

Braves Twitter is imploding. I mean I know most are overreacting, but some of these guys are cracking me up.

It’s quite entertaining.
Although I think most of the anger is not due to us losing a series but the front office/ ownership. Most Braves fans I’ve talked to this winter/spring are fed up with how cheap they are and after Tucker of the AJC released the financial picture of the last year and how much money they made and how they are putting it all into paying down debt at the battery and how payroll was stagnant it’s a tipping point.
People aren’t just going to continue to be dumb and not figure out they are in this for money only..There’s a fine line in making money and trying to put the best team possible on the field.
When I think of division contending team I sure don’t think Buddy Carle or Luke Jackson.
They shouldn’t be on a big league roster much less a contending teams roster injuries or not.

Anyone seen the Tiger Woods meme circulating among Braves fans on Twitter. I've never seen Braves fans this uniformly upset. And it's not because we got swept on the opening series. It's that AA screwed the pooch this past offseason.

Yeah.... I mean, I don't even know who Buddy Carle is
