Did it fool goldy? I can point you to actual "news" articles from places like Fox and Breitbart who people use as news sources that contain actual fake news. Not just sensationalist headlines.

Like, honestly, I don’t really give a **** if he ordered the ship to be scuttled. There are bigger fish to fry than re-litigating the protection of the president’s fragile ego. What I’m interested in here is your dismissal as “fake news” of something that clearly and obviously happened. If you think it’s inconsequential, fine. It is. It’s a whole lot less important than, say, the confirmation that the administration tried to use the Census for political advantage on the basis of race.
But this clearly happened, was accurately reported, and has been confirmed by both the WH and the DoD. Why are you insisting that it’s “fake news”?

If at this point you still believe anything that comes out of DT's mouth, you're beyond help. Whether he knew about it or not is NOT the point. At the very least, the people around him who know him better than anyone thinks he's too insecure to handle being around a battleship named McCain. That's the real story.
I would bet a month's pay that in the course of this mess he's asked someone if it's possible to get the ship renamed.

Just for the record and until I hear otherwise, I believe the tarp was put up days before for the sole purpose of covering up the name McCain. I will not be surprised if when they take the tarp off it now says U.S.S IVANKA.
Btw, this tweet does NOT imply that it was Trump who wanted the name out of sight. It's purposely vague but still differentiates between "The White House", who was planning for the event, and Trump himself.

You mean the world’s largest entertainment company isn’t *really* on our side? This is a shocking development that I do not care about in the least. If Disney and other companies manage to impact Georgia’s decision, I really don’t care how genuine they are.
