2019 MLB Draft Thread

Not gonna lie though, taking two (alleged) low ceiling college players sounds like the Frank Wren era of drafting. I'm a Wren apologist, but it's no secret that his drafts were...pretty not great.

Yeah but with a guy like Espino sitting there....what a great fall back. Just wow.
 
11 picks to go, they better go overslot here after doing what they did at 21.
 
Again I don’t know why we were afraid to lose that 60th pick. We could have snagged CK to begin the season and maybe he in first. I just don’t understand what we are doing. This is like wren all over. Draft safety players over potential. This is a low D.

And you guys need to get over the 60th pick. It will be just as lack luster.

Also not getting the look at Soroka. Come on. We know what these college guys are. Not a great analogy

I said it. I said this too. Lol.. D@mn Henny kicking in...lol. Waiting on this next pick so it can be an F. That way my emotions aren't involved.
 
Anybody think we may go underslot at pick 60 so that we can give more money to Shea and Braden? I think it would give them a confidence boost and show them that we are 100% invested in them.

I know that makes no sense at all, but neither does picking them in the first place.

I think after we hear who is picked in the second round....I gots a baaaad feeling.
