So Grissom, Owens and Johnson have signed. Morton, Estes and Backstrom remain from that high school group in rounds 11-19.

Morton looks to be the hardest get from this group. The other two have indicated they are excited by the opportunity.
 
Here's a fun one: 40th round pick Cade Bunnell from Indiana U. did an interview with the Stoughton Courier about beginning his pro career with the Braves. Not every day your last guy comes aboard!

Great story. Regardless of the odds, he's getting paid to play the game that he loves and I imagine a lot of folks in here would relish the same opportunity. Good luck to him.
 
Interesting on Bunnell. Hit .196 and only started 8 games. Guess the scouts still saw something in him

He's another Upper Midwest guy and Stu Cann or a local stringer probably has been watching him since his high school days in Wisconsin. Played at three different schools: Kansas State as a freshman, Madison (WI) JC as a sophomore, and Indiana as a junior.
