Braves are drawing some good crowds before school lets out.

Might have two consecutive years of increased attendance in the new park. Thats a great sign as they build up the Cobb County area.

School has been out for a month in Ga.

All it takes for our lead to disappear is for the Phillies to go 8-2 and for us to go 4-6. Four games back in baseball is nothing.

What’s more promising is we are now +5 GB in the Wild Card. Having that as a safety net relieves a lot of pressure and should give AA more comfort to focus the deadline on acquiring postseason pieces.

Philly has 6 games vs the Marlins before the ASB, and after the Braves series, the Nats play the Royals, Tigers, and Marlins.

But everyone has the same schedule in the East so it evens out.

Definitely. Really good staff, more-than-solid lineup. The bullpen is their only real question.

The last month was always a disaster do nothing time as well. Especually after the ap and state exams

I thought it was standard all over America that the school began around the beginning of Sept and ended in May.

School in Ga begins August 1st so the Braves only have another solid month to make good money off family’s then it will be hit or miss into August.
School is only out around 2.5 months now for the summer but they get way more time off during the school year then when we were kids.
I mean they get a fall break..WTH is a fall break.
My kids would much rather have the entire summer off then have a lot of it during the school year.

School starts at the beginning of August and ends in May here in Arizona, I know it's the same for my niece in Alabama as well. I think that is standard these days for most places.
