Numbers Explain It All?

Yeah, everyone else had already disappeared during a time while real life had taken me away for a while. I popped in once in a while, made a thread here and there and looked to see if anyone had ever replied to others. No one ever did, until a couple of weeks ago it went offline altogether. I don't know what had happened to Cos, Mrs. Cos, renny, pfigment, et al.

Pfig was here for a while. Regardless, we're glad to have you part of the family again Sn0wman.
 
Heh, memories: after Shanks banned me from Scout, I got a surprising e-mail notification that I had a PM from groove wondering where I'd been. Opened up, could read it, could reply... I was banned from the Braves board only. I told him Bill had banned me and why, and he went and talked to Bill, who promised groove he had not banned me and there must be some mistake and he'd see about getting it fixed.

The next day I was banned from all of Scout, including the PMs. He fixed it!

I think most of us here have been banned at one point or another by Shanks. It's a badge of honor.

As i recall you were one of the original sabr guys to fight against Bill.

I was, though my banning was for quoting Major League. Remember the scene where they're trying to put together a pitching staff and were calling out the names of guys who were retired, and one who was dead? Well, I was not impressed with the piecemeal bullpen we left ST with that year, and quoted that part of the movie, putting guys we had pulled off the scrap heap in place of the ones from the movie, and putting Joe Niekro in the part where they responded with "He's dead." Bill deleted the post, said I "should hang [my] head in shame for mocking the death of Joe Niekro," and permanently banned me.

Don't think too hard trying to find how Joe (or his death) was the target of my mockery, you'll break your brain.

He would not like me, that is for sure. I would be banned in a day.
