you don't see Camargo as a possibility? i think rebuilding teams would be more interested in him than those other guys you listed.
Yes he is. Just overlooked him.

I don't think AA would want to give up a valuable bench piece with a recent track record as a decent starter. Depth was one of the biggest weaknesses last year.
i'm thinking we'd look acquire more reliable, better depth if he were dealt. right now, he's not even good depth. but a re-building team could see him as a legit piece.
Ender is a gold glove center fielder one year removed from a 200 hit year. If you think his bat plays up as even average...he’s worth something...especially with his contract.
In taking Gausman they would basically be gaining back a pitcher with another year of control..they might do that(doubtful). Would be the best case for us.
It will probably be Inciarte+ a couple of our pitchers plus Demeritte/Duvall & one none top ten prospect.
We have a lot of assets to burn right now.. We can do this deal and not even blink, while keeping most/all of our top ten in tact.
This doesn’t net us an ace, but is a much better option than Madbum to me.
Camargo is not good depth? Wow. Tough crowd.
right now? no. he's at -0.4 WAR on the year.
A lot of small sample takes in the last few posts. Camargo--ignoring 2017 & 2018. Inciarte--ditto. Folty--ditto.
All three are best assessed based on their entire body of work over 2017-2019. The three year picture is a much more accurate take on what they are likely to give us in the second half than the three month picture. Way too early to give up on valuable players who we will likely be turning to in the second half.
so what is "right now" for Riley

Johan's '17 was driven by a .364 BABIP and strong defense. last year was unsustainable for different reasons.
i'm not suggesting he's not solid, or won't be in the future. i'd prefer someone more reliable, tho, and think he could bring back some nice value based on his two unsustainable seasons.
What I'm objecting to is giving excessive weight to his 2019 numbers
He's a switch-hitting five-position player with some pop. Long term, he's a utility guy. I don't know what his value to other teams is. I don't think they see him as a starter, so I don't foresee him being on any other team's must-have list. But I really don't care about what his WAR is at this point. He's a pretty good insurance plan for us.
People seem to forget that Braves have given up on Folty
