Braves trading for Stroman?

Was looking today and saw Stroman has the second highest GB% in baseball this season. Works for me.
 
He should be a good hitter because he's already used to carrying a big stick around everywhere he goes.

I’m sure AA already knows what Bumgarner and Smith would cost along with Boyd and the rest of the obvious targets so it wouldn’t surprise me to see a Stroman and Giles deal go through. You’d think Stromans numbers would be better away from the AL East.
 
Stroman would be my top target but why are we believing some random ass dude on twitter? Even if he guessed correctly on a few past trades?

Well we have Duvall and I assume perhaps Pache may push his way into discussion if a major injury hit one of our starters.

Plus Demerite as well.

He may be in someone in the Blue Jays front offices family. That didn't go so well for the dude that was kin to the Lakers owner that got doxxed on reddit and ultimately ended up being wrong about Kawhi anyway.

Anthony Alford is on the 7-Day IL in Buffalo and only has one option left. If he's close, he could be an option to come back as a throw-in to delay Pache a little longer.
 
Heyman: Despite twitter rumors, I hear there’s been no talk to this point between the Braves and Jays involving Marcus Stroman. “Total fabrication,” is a phrase I heard.
 
I highly doubt this dude knows anything our organization will do considering we’ve been one of the most secretive teams in MLB.
The DK signing was tight lipped until it happened and every other trade we’ve made since AA took over is last minute.
I think we will trade for a BP arm before a starter anyways.
As great as Luke has been Closing this year are we really gonna roll the dice in the postseason with he and Swarzak nailing it down?
Don’t get me wrong I’d love to have another solid starter to pair with DK and Soroka but I believe the Price is gonna be steep.
So many teams still in the playoff hunt.

They added “heavily in discussions for him” in the next tweet as a qualifier to save face in case it isn’t true or falls through. It seems like a way out if it doesn’t happen or that’s how I took it, they are in a no-lose situation.

I betcha it's almost word for word what he said about the Realmuto rumors until it proved they were real and he about tripped he backpedaled so fast,

Not saying I believe this rumor, but I don't trust any Braves beat writer when it comes to rumors anymore. They've clearly lost most of the connections they had before AA took over.
