GDT 7/21/19: Secure the split

I would like to reiterate my view that the anti-Braves posters around here need to go back where they came from.

They dont post their share of good posts. The boards are already overcrowded and there's no room for them.

Send them back! Send them back! Send them back! (Repeat another one hundred times).

Donaldson has drastically lowered his K-rate since the first two months of the season. he's been killing it.

also has a higher fWAR than Freddie.

I didn't get to watch last night, but I did listen... radio really liked ender's defense and obviously, gausman's performance. Really encouraging game for both

Sure would be nice if Gausman could give us some good games.

Pitched extremely well in a big game. I hesitate to put too much value on a single game and there's a lot of season left, but I thought there was a little more gravitas in this game than others given the opponent and the immediate effect on the standings. Hopefully Gausman can be consistent the rest of the way. I don't expect this out of him every start, but if he can pitch like the solid #3/#4 that he is and give us a chance to win every time out, I'll gladly take it.

The Braves big 3 of Acuna, Freeman, and Donaldson are on pace for a combined 15.2 fWAR and 115 homers. I'll take that.

I mean it's only taken Acuna his 1st full season to become the teams best player.

These are obviously surface-level stats, but his 162-game average is .294/.371/.532, 38 HR (OUT OF THE LEADOFF SPOT!), 94 RBI, 28 SB with a .903 OPS. That so damn good.

JERKS!!!! This crowd used to be cool to hang out with at Scout, BravesBeat and FanHome but then the egghead crowd took over. Sad.

Someone has read so many Trump twitter posts his writing patterns are starting to mimic those of the great pumpkin haha.

There are plenty of anti-intellectual fansites around. I suggest you go back to those boards from which you came.

There was point in the game that ESPN flashed a comparison of Acuna's and Henderson's career starts at leadoff, and remarking how similar they were. They were actually nothing alike. Acuna has 4th-hole numbers from the leadoff spot - like 80 RBI's. It's unbelievable.

I saw that too and thought the same. It was a horrible comparison and made zero sense. It was like they started talking and threw up the stats in hopes that they could trick the viewers.
