He hasn’t pitched in a week. Snitker needs to not suck at bullpen management.

But, yes. Swarzak was never going to be that good all year. Not giving up a run over 2 months is ridiculous.
 
1 of the runners on base when Gomes hit the 3 run HR was a Minter BBs. Swarzak has been bad in his last 2 outings.

BP trying their best to give this game away.
 
Swarzak's been outperforming his peripherals by a lot. He's a mediocre reliever who we managed to squeeze a crazy streak out of. He really should be pitching in middle relief.
 
So Riley (weakly) puts the ball in play. I guess a matchup of Riley vs. the Nats bullpen is a "tallest midget contest."
 
I guess you're not allowed to be a Braves reliever unless you walk the first guy you face. It's nothing short of sickening.
 
Great point about how tomorrow is an early start and we're burning through our pen in a 10-run, 3 1/3 inning situation.
