His profile as a passable obp with big power and a lot of strikeouts make me think he can and will just fall apart at some point. Add in very bad defense and I wont be surprised if he is a had been before he hits free agency. Might be wrong but I wouldn't bet a lot on him. Probably why SD was willing to let him go.
 
AA said they are still working on some things and will pull the trigger if they like a player and can agree on the price.

Reds have a nice trio of SP now.
I guess they think they can go for it next year and flip Bauer in case they fail again.
If the Mets don’t trade anyone today like I think they won’t ,seems they are following same logic no matter how misguided it may be.
Mets would be smart to trade Wheeler and keep Thor.
Wheeler’s gone after this year anyways, may as well get what they can for him.
Would be ideal to pry Díaz and he from them for Wright plus but I suspect that won’t happen.
