Kimbrel headed to IL
Cano to IL with torn hammy.
From MLBTR
6:50pm: Cano has been diagnosed with a torn hamstring, the team announced and David Lennon of Newsday was among those to cover on Twitter. The specific grade is not clear; neither is the precise timeline. While surgery is not expected to be necessary, it certainly sounds as if Cano is headed for a lengthy absence.

Heard the Mets mentioned Ian Anderson and Kyle Wright in Wheeler talks with Atlanta.
Braves said nope.

From a verified guy on MLB.com on twitter, even if you dont like Wright, him for Wheeler is stooopid.
They want to re-sign him.
They certainly have the money to do that if they wanted.

He’s a pretty good dude.
He told me at the all star break that in a perfect world, the Braves would come within a few million of his best offer this offseason and he would sign with us.I firmly believe if we have a competitive offer this winter he will be in a Atlanta uniform next season.

Wheeler will have a QO attached, so I kinda doubt we'll have much interest. More likely to trade for someone, imo.
